I encountered a woman taller than me today. She was easily 6 feet tall and looked proud of it. She was attractive and thin and looked like she could be a model. The women was even more fascinating to me since she was shopping at Wal-Mart and words like “thin” and “attractive” are rarely used to describe people there. I rarely see any women taller than myself. It got me thinking and I wondered if tall people are really in the minority or if was just my perspective (things do look different from up here). I did some research and found that as a woman at 5’10’’, I am taller that 98.8% of women and 69.1% of men. It is an interesting site, designed for short people; it is worth checking out for people of all heights.

As a 6 footer myself, I greatly appreciated this exercise. Only .3 of the population of woman are taller than me and I only have 11% of all the men in this world to choose from for a potential mate-- if I want him to be taller than me. I'll put money that those 11% are already married!!!!!!!!!
Wow, I didn't know those extra 3 inches you gained on me put you into such an exclusive class!
I love being tall!!! I am 5'11" and I guess I was lucky to find one of the 19.6% of the male population that is taller than me. The only time I wish I were shorter is when I am teaching. There is quite a difference in height between me and the average kindergartener. I invested in one of those pilates balls that I can roll around the classroom and sit on instead of the little tiny chairs.
