Paradise undeserved

Emma's first birthday is coming up quickly and I often think about what was going a year ago. This weekend we were heading to Christmas Valley, a five hour drive. I was SO uncomfortable. I already had two nephews and I was terribly anxious to have my baby in my arms instead of my stomach. This picture is Emma at two weeks old. We've had so much fun getting to know her this year. I'm so glad that what my grandma said is true... "No woman has stayed pregnant forever."
