Water runs off the hill and through our yard. Our original plan was to have a pond to collect the run off. Lots of research later, we decided a pond wasn't worth it -- way to costly to maintain and dangerous once we were expecting Emma.
This is 2 years ago when our yard was flooding. Jeff dug a ditch and buried a tile. What a mess! Last year we put in a new lawn.
