We celebrated Jeff's birthday yesterday with a big, yummy breakfast with his parents and then Jeff, Emma and I went to the air museum in Mac. The museum was interesting and we leaned lots. For instance, did you know the Spruce Goose is made entirely out of wood and remains the largest airplane ever made?
For dinner, we ate out at The New China Buffet. We ate there last year as well because they offer a free birthday dinner. All you can eat wantons, fried rice and soft-serve ice cream. What a deal.
The best part of my day was giving Jeff his birthday gifts. I told him not to get too excited because I only spent $6 on his gifts. He is a man who loves a good deal, so he wasn't disapointed at the idea. What he didn't know what that my friend Laura, who works at Leupold, had sent me a scope that she couldn't use. For those of you who aren't familiar with scopes, Leupold is the Mercedes Benz of gun accessories. So, burried under his socks and clearance work sweatshirt was his dream scope (in a cool new color developed by my friend Laura). Jeff loves the scope and now my only problem is he thinks he needs a new gun to put the scope on. Hmm. Maybe next year.

'Cart before the horse,' eh? I'm glad he got something more than socks- although very practical! (I'll be at your place at 9am).
Haha...you don't know what I'm laughing at, but the day after Drew & I were engaged we went to the Evergreen Museum, and got our picture taken in the exact same spot and pose (san little girl of course) :) Anyway I had to laugh!
