I’ve had many monumental, unforgettable, fantastic experiences in my life. There was my first plane ride, Jeff’s proposal, the view from the top of the Eiffel Tower, seeing our baby girl for the first time, and now this… I have 6 new windows! Those who worry about my sanity for being so thrilled I would assume have never lived in an old house with aluminum windows. Most of the wood frame windows in our house were replaced with aluminum. I wonder how long it took the home owners to regret that decision. They draw moisture between the panes of glass, are impossible to clean, they rust, grow mold and you can’t see through them. The wood frame windows are no better, but at least you can see out of them after you use 10 towels to mop up the condensation. So, now you can see why I am lump this together with other amazing life experiences! They are so beautiful and Jeff did an amazing job installing them (4 windows in one afternoon!). From now on, if anyone asks what I want for Christmas/Birthday I will say, “A bathroom window, 2 for Emma’s room, 2 for ours, and 7 for upstairs, thank you.” No gift wrap necessary.

This has to go on the list of things I never thought I'd envy. Covet. Yeah. I'm going to have to pray about that.

I totally understand your thrill! I am so excited for you. Though not quite as excited as engagements, weddings and babies!
