We had Jeff's dad and family over for Father's Day and enjoyed a BBQ lunch. Emma enjoyed playing with Micah on the slide and swings.
Emma gave her father a cheesecake (made by me with a little help from Emma) and the Father's Day card from last year that we recently found while cleaning up her room. Emma does a good job showing her daddy every day and she loves him. He never leaves the house without hugs and kisses and her exclamation of "Daddy!" when he returns home can't be beat.
The other night I tucked Emma into bed and explained that daddy wouldn't be home until later, but he would come and give her a kiss. She worriedly said, "Gicky hands?" I told her he would for sure wash his hands. Then she said, "Gicky hands clean-up (with) water. (Then give) Emma (a) kiss."
Emma is very thoughtful and perceptive. I love listening to her thoughts as she pours them out through limited vocabulary. She talks very little to others and people think she is quiet. Every day she picks up something new and I am so thankful that I am the one who gets to be with her all day.

Jesse and Juli are growing up fast! I took these pictures to show to Janice who won't believe that Jesse has passed Jeff up by at least 2 inches and Juli is the same height as me. They are great kids and both do a good job taking care of and tolerating their 4 nephews and 1 niece.
