End of summer vacation!

Our vacation is now just a sweet memory. We went to Eagle Crest (near Bend, OR) for 3 nights, planning on doing a whole lot of nothing except resting, relaxing, being a family, watching some good re-runs on cable, going swimming and eating out. We got everything on our list accomplished and had a wonderful time. The highlight for me was going to bed early and having Jeff by my side every day. Emma would be the first to tell you her favorite part about the trip was swimming. She begged to go day and night and we ended up taking her two times every day – she is such a water lover. Jeff’s been working pretty much non-stop for months now and deserved a break. I hope his favorite part was actually getting to rest, although Emma kept making him go swimming. As for Mandy, eating and sleeping are still her ideal vacation activities and we got a lot of both of those done. She also seemed to enjoy having daddy around and being outside for walks.

I am feeling really terrific these days – I haven’t cried in a week! Whoo-hoo! My emotions are leveling out and my body is almost good as new. I went for a brisk walk, unencumbered by a baby in my belly, and it felt great. It was that and seeing myself in a swimsuit that got me thinking I am ready to starting working on getting rid of some post-baby flab. I am not going by the scale since the milking system I am carrying around is throwing the digits WAY off. Ideally, I want to be back in my pre-prego clothes by Christmas and that means I have about 3 sizes to loose. I think it is totally doable, so I am starting T-Tapp boot camp tomorrow. I’ll let you know how it is going by telling you how many inches are coming off. Stay tuned…

I have been thinking of ordering T-Tapp and doing it along with you this fall. Which program did you order again? I just want to get back into the jeans I was wearing a year ago, which is a size and a half to two sizes :)
