Emma wants to be just like me, down to her painted toes. For now, these precious days are full of flattery. She says, “Oh, nice, Mommy!” In a adoring voice, “So, cute,” she says. She is growing and changing, watching and learning.
Last night Emma and I painted our toes and then sat in front of a piping hot fire to let them dry. A storm whipped the windows as rain poured down and we read Bible stories, cozy and dry.

Ahhh...such sweet times with Emma. Anna loves the painted nails, too. But she doesn quite get the staying still so they can dry part, yet :)
Cute pictures of the cousins, too!! I'm sure your mom will cherish them.
You better watch out, or Emma will grown up just like cousin Tawny. My downward spiral into girlishness started with painted toes as well... :)
