We took a few days off and went to find babysitters in Olympia. My parents are always willing to have us, I just wish it didn't take 3 hours to get there. Emma enjoys them very much and now Mandy is a seasoned pro at being watched my "Bama and Papa." Jeff and I headed for the mall and shopped a bit and then went out for dinner with Jeff's cousin who also lives in the area. It was great to catch up and I really enjoyed my Salmon Sandwich at Tugboat Annie's. Now that we are back home, Christmas is long gone, and I am feeling almost 100%, I am getting back on the healthy lifestyle wagon. I managed to not gain any weight over the last month, but I feel tired and heavy -- too many sweets and fried stuff and not any excersize.
These pictures are pretty random. Here is one of Jeff and Mandy playing on the floor. Mandy is so fun these days. She loves to play with Jeff and Emma. Jeff will fly her around the room, chasing Emma, and Mandy lands on top and everyone giggles.
Emma got this new bathrobe for Christmas. She uses it for every bath and loves it!
The picture here is of Emma pushing Mandy in a gift basket we got from our neighbor. It was beautiful with a big winter bear, lots of paper confetti, and little gifts for each of us. Of course, Emma's favorite part was pushing Mandy around. Mandy sat very stoicly, looking at the strands of paper between her fingers. Great gift!

I love Tugboat Annies. Did you know that you can rent kayaks there? A couple times we have rented them and then treated ourselves to a big breakfast afterwards.
