A few weeks ago, my cousins Lisa and Katie, took Emma to Dallas to visit the horse that Lisa has been working with and training. Lisa attends Corbin and Katie was visiting for spring break. Both girls have grown up around horses and work at the horse camp where their parents work in California. Since Emma loves all animals, Lisa knew Emma would enjoy a trip to see the horses.
It was a crazy time warp that my mind and heart went through as I watched my little girl drive off with 2 very responsible young ladies who I remember just a bit ago baby sitting and playing babies with. I have many fond memories of visiting my little cousins in California and doing fun things with my very cool aunt, their mom.
Above is Emma with Katie and a dog that Emma clearly enjoys. Too bad Emma was not born to different parents and she would have animals at her own house. The poor child.
Katie, Lisa, Mandy, and Emma at our house for dinner and a movie afterward (we didn't play barbies, although it might have been fun :)
I think Emma's shyness wore off and she was a little silly. Just a hunch. Since I wasn't there and Lisa took these pictures, all we have is the evidence. :)
