Emma

Do you ever have those moments when you look at your child and think, "I have the most beautiful child in the entire world"? Thank the Lord that I have those moments, because it is what gets me through some really trying times.
I was having one of those moments a few days ago when Emma was wearing her new free-from-the-MOPS-swap sweater. Oh, she just looked darling. I thought, "How could I have such a beautiful child?" So, I took out my camera and tried to capture just that certain look.

Emma says some really funny things. She doesn't talk a whole lot or ramble on and on. Here are some things I've heard from her lately:

First thing this morning when my eyes were still closed: Hey Mom, hey. I want to talk to you now.

When she opened the car door while we were driving down the road: I almos fall out of car and die. Then I have ony one arm.... wary, wary bloody.

In reply to my question, "Why did you just get a spankin'?": 'Cause you saw me hurt Mandy.

I Love, love, love, that first picture of her. She looks so childlike and innocent, yet almost like I can picture her a beautiful 16 year old, too!

I laughed at what she's been saying lately, too!
