The Baby Keeper

This handy baby hanger is for when you need your hands free in a public restroom or dressing room. I could have used one of these the other day in McDonalds when I was trying to keep Mandy from licking the floor while I used the bathroom. I'm sure I wouldn't remember the Baby Keeper when I needed it though. :)

Funny you should blog about this. Rachel Ray had this exact thing in one of her "human lab" tests in an episode I happened to catch a few weeks ago. The mom who tested it said it was handy, but much better for smaller kids, it was hard to get the baby into (you needed 2 people), and her child didn't like it - but she thought he would have if she had started him in it really young (her baby was 14 months I think). They also tested a pair of fake snuggle arms and a crash helmet for those learning to walk. Oh what mothers will come up with!

Oh this is so funny! Oh what mothers have to go through..i.e. trying to use the bathroom while trying to keep their child from licking the floor..LOL! I'm sorry, I don't mean to laugh but the imagery in my head is priceless.

Wow - I used to just "do my business" with Eli in the sling. A balancing act - yes, but way more convenient than the baby keeper.
