I've stopped avoiding this book. "Created To Be His Help Meet" by Debi Pearl, has been haunting me for a few months now. Everyone seems to be talking about it. Family members, friends, the pastor at church, even total strangers are saying, "You have to read this book!" So, I finally started reading it and will be starting a group study on it tomorrow. If any of you married ladies decide to try it, be prepared to make huge attitude and action changes. "Discover how God can make your marriage glorious."

I'm starting this one as well, just to form an opinion if nothing else. I've heard both intense praise and angry ranting on this one. Of course, the Pearls are a very...unconventional family. Did you read To Train Up A Child? I liked it personally and have used it's information, but some of the techniques are a bit over the top for my style. I'm expecting the same from this book. I guess we'll see!
I read this a few months ago before Calvary started their study. Now I am re-reading it. It's taking a second time to sink in. Are you doing the Thursday night study at church or another one?
I just figured out that you had commented on some of my posts.... I learn something new everyday. Anyway, thanks for checking it out. I love to see your updates as well!
