We went camping at South Twin Lake (near LaPine) over the weekend. Camping over Mother's day is Jeff's family tradition. Jeff, Emma and I left on Thursday afternoon to get a good spot and enjoyed peace and quiet until Saturday morning when the rest of the family came. Fishing, hiking, eating, fire-making, and napping kept us busy until Sunday afternoon. Emma did great even with a cold. She sneezed and snotted on me all night -- I felt so loved. She even said "I love you." It made it all worth it; even when it comes out sounding like "eyeuboo." We drove home smoky and tired yesterday with a quick stop at DQ in Oak Ridge for a Mother's Day treat. It was really a fun time. Posted by Picasa
