Emma is actually not very helpful when it comes to sewing projects. She loves watching the scissors cut. "Let me just put my hand in there, Mommy. Ooh, and let me just spit up on your new fabric (that you already pre-washed). Ooh, and also, let me grab and hang on the fabric as it goes through the machine. That won't mess you up, will it?"

Maybe Emma will learn to sew even younger than her mommy did. We need to find her a little sewing machine.
All we can do is try, Em. Sometimes Moms just don't appriciate our help.
