I won't be blogging for a few days (sniff, sniff, dry your tears) because I will be in Vancouver, WA. My dear friend, Laura and her high school sweet heart, Kris (the cute couple on the left) are getting married on Saturday. I'm in the wedding, along with my friend Hillary. We get to wear the most beautiful dresses! I'll post pictures! Laura, Hillary (from BC, now married to an America) and I all met over ten years ago when we worked at camp in California. We've remained close through the years and I am so excited to be in Laura's wedding.
Laura is having a Fall themed wedding, so Emma and I picked some of our pumpkins to help decorate the church and reception. Emma kept saying "Ide, ide, ide." For those of you with untrained ears, that may make no sense, but to me it sounded like, "Ride, ride, ride." Oh, the linguistic skills a mommy must have! The picture on the right is Emma's ideal spot in the pumpkin wagon. She shouldn't have any trouble flying coach to Africa after this.
Emma and Jeff will join me on Saturday for the wedding. I will try to enjoy my first night away from my baby and have a real girls' night out.

What a funny girl you are Emma, loving such small spaces. You probably won't fit in Grandma's little toy box anymore though.
I'm gonna miss you! Seriously-- I really hope that you do have a fun night away with the girls, but I have a feeling that you are going to be missing the family terribly. Funny how things change. Please post picture when you get back!
Congratulations Laura!!
I love weddings! Hope you had a good time.
