Emma's room:

3 years ago now, I began dreaming of my baby's nursery. I picked out the paint color and wallpaper border even before I knew she was a girl. It was all so beautiful and turned out just as I planned -- light yellow walls and a 28" scene of a toy chest dancing around the lower portion of the room. Our baby was born and about 4 months into the journey, she started tearing away at her perfect nursery. My wise husband warned me, but I didn't believe such a small child could actually take off wallpaper. How niave I was! By the time she could stand up, the entire area around her crib was wripped off. The rest of the room was destroyed in the next 6 months. Giving up my dream, and tired of looking at the ugly, wripped mess, I bought some wallpaper stripper. It took a little over a week, but it finally all came off (Emma generously donated her time to finish the job). It looks much better, plain and simple.

The little culprit.

On her big-girl bed with fresh clean walls. What will she do during nap time now?
