Snow day

For the first time in our married life, Jeff took a snow day. Actually it was just a snow morning and he still left the house at 7:30am to go check the cows. He came back and he and Emma played outside in the freshly fallen snow. It was a beautiful morning, very icy and snowy. My meeting in Dallas was canceled and I was happy to relax inside by the nice warm fire and enjoy a novel. I came out to take photos though and view the snow family. Emma showed me their creations, "Mum, Daddy.... me!" She said as she pointed to each one. An amazing likeness, but I did question the rather chubby depiction of "Mum."
Jeff is back at work, the snow is quickly melting, but it was fun while it lasted!

Hope you had fun in the snow!

Ahhh, what cute snowmen/women :)! Glad you had fun in the snow. Seems like a record "snow" year for us, but maybe I'm just quick to forget...

I'm proud of you Jeff. Paul took the day off today as well, we both did.

Your father is wondering about Emma's British (or canadian) pronunciation of mom? Love the picture with the snow family. We tried to get uncle Steve to let us have a snow day, we promised to make it up in the summer, but he didn't go for it! The commute took at least 45 seconds longer than usual though.

Love the snow-family! Good on ya Jeff for taking the day. You deserve it!

p.s. Emma looks like an angel in her winter gear.

Love the family picture of the 6 of you!! They wouldn't let Dennis have a snow day. You know rain, or sleet, or snow...the mail must go through!
