Last night was a kick-off picnic/potluck for MOPS.
Quite a few families came out and the kids enjoyed playing. It's cool that both of my sister-in-laws attend MOPS and so Emma gets to play with her cousins (this is Micah and Josh).
Emma spun on the merry-go-round for about 20 minutes -- she was right in the middle of the action with the big kids. Nothing scares this girl, well almost nothing. I was watching from distance and saw her holding the outside bars, facing the sky, feet flying through the air. She made a few rounds like that until one of the other moms was able to stop it. Emma's momentum was stopped and she literally went flying. She cried a little and then wanted back on! The tears were probably from the bruise on her back from hitting the ground.

Looks like so much fun! I am awaiting the startup of our mops in Portland. Sorry to say, they are much LESS organized than you gals are down in Dallas.
I am looking forward to MOPS! We had to miss the potluck (Will's soccer practice), but I'm glad it was a sucess!!
