My sister, the photographer

So, my sister is a famous photographer and Emma and I made it into a MOPS mass email!

A few months ago, I entered a photography contest through MOPS International’s website. I could only enter 1 picture and entered one of Emma and Ben I took this spring. As I was looking through my pictures, I found this one that Andrea took with my camera at the park in the fall. I entered the picture with Andrea as the photographer and gave her name and address as contact information. I sort of forgot to tell her about entering, so when MOPS called her home, everyone was a little confused. The picture didn’t win the grand prize, but they were interested in using it. My brother-in-law gave them Andrea and Benton’s name as the people in the picture and later asked my sister, “What is this all about?” It took awhile to figure it all out and I called MOSP as soon as possible with the REAL names, so that Alysun and Emmaleigh didn’t appear as Andrea and Benton.

A MOPS E-mail is sent out once a week and the one I received today had the usual article, plus this picture of a darling mother and child (me and Em's). I guess this is where the picture is being used. It goes out to every mom registered at MOPS International. That is quite a few, so I suppose Em’s and I are famous… sort of. If you scroll over the picture, our names appear. The highlight of my day!
