The perfect thing

Why is it that when I am looking for something specific, I can't find it?
I was thinking about how practical it would be to have a nice, lightweight bathrobe. I am not talking lingerie or spa wear -- just a robe. Should this be so hard to find? When looking through the "racks" online, I found either satin or terry clothe. I have a satin robe that works well for its purpose and I also have a terry clothe robe. I received the terry clothe robe as a gift when I asked for one around the time Emma was born (it is when you start thinking of getting up in the middle of the night that a bathrobe sounds like a great idea). Anyway, the robe I got is quite deluxe. It comes to my ankles, it is white, soft and fluffy, weighing in at about 50 pounds. It is ideal for coming in from the hot tub on a snowy night -- I don't have a hot tub or snow. Also, it would be great for when I am finished having a bubble bath in my jacuzzi tub and my husband wants to give me a foot massage -- I don't have a jacuzzi tub or a husband who wants to give me a foot massage.
What I am looking for is something to simply cover and warm that isn't bulky or look like my grandmother. I am imagining something in cotton or jersey knit that is about knee length (thigh length does not say mid-night breastfeeding to anyone) in a soft heather grey or perhaps a white with ticking blue stripe. I couldn't find anything even close except for one at VS that says PINK across the butt. I am not 17 and don't think that is cool, so I am still looking. Oh, another specific is the price, I don't want to spend more than $30 (with shipping). Now that I have put this information out there, I hope that someone knows of "the perfect thing."
These are the things that I think about when all I want to do is have a baby and I am tired of every day life as a now over-due pregnant lady.

Grammy made me a beautiful robe before you were born, the nice light weight you want for Indian summer babies. I still have it and it was perfect for me. I'm sorry I can't be the mom that says I know just what you need let me make that for you! Best wishes in your search!

I searched for you all yesterday. Usually a search for "kimono robe" is the right length and lightweight but I just could not find a nonexpensive one. I'll keep trying!

This is close, but is probably too thick. Price is right:
