Another trip to the beach, more perfect weather... this is why I call my life paradise. We went to Depoe Bay for 2 nights and invited friends, Janelle and Nate and baby Ada. Mandy and Ada were born on the same day, 2 hours apart. Of course at this age, babies don't really care one bit about eachother, but the grown-ups had fun and Emma enjoyed swimming in the indoor pool.
Sorry ladies, they're taken! Most the time, I think Jeff just like wearing around the baby pack for all the adoring women he attracts. This day on the beach there were no other people, so he must have been carrying the baby just because he is a great guy (the same goes for Nate too).
Janelle and I with our girls. Janelle and I grew up together as best friends and together we conquired the world (or at least Western Europe).
Here are some great pics of the twins. It is fun to see the differences in them already. Mandy is so chubby, while Ada is lean and strong. They are just too cute and Janelle and I compared notes.
Today on the way home we stopped to shop (just briefly) at the outlets. I don't know about you, but finding a great deal gives me a rush! At Eddie's they had a wrack of mans's plaid Burmuda shorts in sizes 42-48 for $2.99. I almost walked by, but looked anyway. Under the cover of the brilliant reds and oranges, I found one pair of kacki cargos, reg. $49.99, in size 34 for Jeff, for just $2.99! I also found a nice blue polo shirt for him and a sweater vest for me (both on the $2.99 wrack). At Children's Place I went to look for the red whool coat I almost bought for Emma 2 weeks ago. They still had it only it was an extra 50% off making it only $12.50 for a gorgeous dress coat. Since it was such a deal, I bought one for Mandy for next year. It is the type of coat that is about as impractical as they come, is impossible to get child/coat into the car seat, but gets lots of reaction from the grandmother types.
All in all, it was an amazing 3 days and now I am all ready for Christmas.

It looks like you had a great time. I'm so glad that you were able to meet up with them there. Great job of the deals at the outlets. Hmmm...I wish that Nipawin had something like that. :)

I'm so glad I checked your blog today. We are heading over to Lincoln City this weekend (just Craig and I) so I will have to check out your good deals at the outlets!

I think it is so cool you and your friend had babies the same day! My friend Christi from high school had her little boy two days before Anna. It is fun to compare notes and realize just how close they are in age, as they grow.

Anyway.....probably see ya next year!!

Merry Christmas!!
