Dressing Up

Last October was a much different time in my life. I was the mother of 1 almost 2 year-old, I was preparing for a trip to Africa, and I was in my friend Laura's wedding. The dress I wore in the wedding was amazing and I loved wearing the beautiful copper gown. A few months down the road found me back from Africa, pregnant, and no pretty gowns to wear.
I was flipping through pictures last night and saw the dress and sighed. I doubted it would fit now, but I tried it on anyway. It slipped on and it zipped up! The picture above is me, by the Christmas tree this year and the other is of me, Jeff and Emma last year. I love all the new blessings in my life, now a year and a few months later, and I still love that dress.

It was a beatiful dress! I'm so glad you and Hillary picked that one. Only 4 more days until Kris and I are back in the Northwest! Hopefully we can connect some how while I am around.

Laura should get a prize for allowing her bridesmaid to choose- its some kind of miracle to have a bridesmaids dress you actually like!!
