Paradise undeserved

I updated the blog for Christmas. It didn't turn out quite how I wanted it, but my computer wasn't cooperating, so I'm leaving it.
Merry Christmas to all and here is a survey:

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper (make sure you REALLY like the gift wrap if you buy a roll at Costco – we are on year #3)

2. Real tree or Artificial? Fake. I put it up the week before Thanksgiving.

3. When do you put up the tree? See above

4. When do you take the tree down? Around New Years

5. Do you like egg nog? LOVE IT! Can’t have it because I am not consuming dairy L

6. Favorite gift received as a child? Barbie house from Dad (age 6 or 7)

7. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes, hand carved in ivory

8. Hardest person to buy for? Grandparents because they buy everything they need/want for themselves.

9. Easiest person to buy for? Myself!

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail

11 .Worst Christmas gift you ever received???? This is a public blog, so I will not divulge, but I’ve received some doozies.

12. Favorite Christmas movie? Christmas Story

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? October or November

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Yes

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Cheese Fondue, again can’t eat it because of the dairy L

16. Clear lights or colored on the tree? White On the house? Blue and white

17. Favorite Christmas song? Oh, Holy Night

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Last year we came home the day before Christmas Eve after flying from Africa (only about 31 hours in the air). We usually stay pretty close to home.

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeers? No desire to try

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Angel

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Both. We have a lot of Christmas celebrations

22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? The crowds

23. Favorite ornament theme or color? I have a collection of ornaments that my Grandma Bonnie gave me over the year. It is fun to get them out and remember the years. I also have a collection of red and gold glass balls that complete my tree.

24. Favorite part of Christmas dinner? Mashed potatoes, gravy, ham, turkey, green bean casserole.

25. What do you want for Christmas this year? I already got my Christmas gift, a new laundry room and bedroom windows. No wrapping required.

26. Gift Cards. Yes, I like them, or No, too impersonal? Love em!

27. If yes, where from? If No, best place to shop for your present? Restaurants or Tanger Outlet (like anyone who reads this is going to get me a gift card!)

28. Any plans for New Years? No plans. It becomes increasingly difficult when little ones come with you everywhere you go.
