There is a long list of things I swore I would never do once I had my own children. Letting my 3 year old dress herself? Never.
I've learned a lot over the last few years. One of them is to pick my battles. Yet, I went into public with Emma looking like this I figured this outfit was odd enough that people would realize I didn't put those clothes on her myself. (That is 2 headbands, a pj shirt, over-all shorts, and leggings you see). "Matches, mommy," she tells me. OK, right.
She is develping her style.... this is what I tell myself as I look the other way.

We laughed so hard, my stomach hurt! Such a sense of style is right!!
"matches, mommy" so cute!!
she is adorable! and so is your cute, chunky baby on the previous post. :) So much fun!
Oh yeah...I do remember...!
I remember being the older sister and having Andrea dress like that. My mom would say, "she is happy, so leave her alone." I was so embarrased as a teen. Don't worry, she dresses great, now;-)
Hey! I like it! You go Emma! Great Aunt Marci says it's okay to be ecsentric. I just wish I could have learned not to worry about what other people thought a lot sooner! It's so freeing!!
