Horsing Around

Emma loves playing with Mandy. "Love" is not the word I would use to describe Mandy's feelings about Emma playing with her; "tolerates" is more like it. Emma wants to play with Mandy all the time and asks me if she can wake Mandy up from naps. I always answer "no" and encourage her to find something else to do until Mandy wakes up on her own. Unfortunately, a few days ago I found Emma in Mandy's crib trying to apply make-up to the sleeping (not for long) baby. There were so many problems: no waking your sister up, no getting in the baby's crib, no playing in mommy's make-up.... where do I begin? Some days it feels like we take 14 steps backward in the obedience department.
In other news, you should check out my new poll, "what do you do with your free time." I am curious because often people will remark, "how do you have time for that?" when I am describing something I recently spent a lot of time on. We all have at least a little free time, so where does it go?
Also, the food blog, Food Love has been updated recently, so check it out for a recommended meal idea. Some blogs don't get updated very often (you know who you are), so I'm sure, like me, you stop checking. I just updated Janice's Journal with news from the Caia village. Janice will be home in a few weeks and we are really looking forward to it!

Ha! Looks like I am the first to vote. I chose excercising because I would love to be able to spend my free time getting outside to excercise, but my only free time is when Eli is sleeping, a catch 22. I should probably check out some work out videos from the library! By the way, I love the little red boots. I always say they make the cutest clothes for kids. Where can I find them in adult sizes?

Josh always says "Jacob wants up" when his brother is sleeping too... I think of it as a compliment that Josh likes the brother we gave him ;)

About your poll, does free time mean alone time? There is a difference at this house :) I am never alone, but sometimes they leave me alone, in which case I would vote for computer stuff 'cuz the other things would not allow them to continue leaving me alone.

I had to vote for 2 things: scrapbooking and computer stuff. So nice that they often go hand-in-hand!

By the way, I have been a blogging fool today. Check it out.
