With your windows open
Don't hold in your anger or leave things unspoken
Wear your red dress
Use your good dishes
Make a big mess and make lots of wishes
Have what you want
But want what you have
And don't spend your life lookin' back
Chorus:
Turn up the music
Turn it up loud
Take a few chances
Let it all out
You won't regret it
Lookin' back from where you have been
Cuz it's not who you knew
And it's not what you did
It's how you live
Verse 2:
So go to the ballgames
And go to the ballet
And go see your folks more than just on the holidays
Kiss all your children
Dance with your wife
Tell your husband you love him every night
Don't run from the truth
'Cause you can't get away
Just face it and you'll be okay
Chorus:
Turn up the music
Turn it up loud
Take a few chances
Let it all out
You won't regret it
Lookin' back from where you have been
'Cause it's not who you knew
And it's not what you did
It's how you live
Bridge:
Oh wherever you are and wherever you've been
Now is the time to begin
Verse 3:
So give to the needy
And pray for the grieving
E'en when you don't think that you can
'Cause all that you do is bound to come back to you
So think of your fellow man
Make peace with God and make peace with yourself
'Cause in the end there's nobody else
Chorus
Turn up the music
Turn it up loud
Take a few chances
Let it all out
'Cause you won't regret it
Lookin' back from where you have been
'Cause it's not who you knew
And it's not what you did
It's how you live
'Cause it's not who you knew
And it's not what you did
It's how you live
(Point of Grace, How You Lived)
Annie died last night. I imagine she sprinted into the arms of her Savior with a “Whoop!” of excitement. She was full of life and her life was full. I don’t understand why God would let her leave us… her light for Him was so bright.
She will be greatly missed.

Isn't it amazing how God gives and takes away? It's hard to understand. I needed this reminder to live every day to it's fullest. Thanks for sharing this sadness with us.
Thank you Alysun, what a great song to remember her by. She WILL be greatly missed, but has definately left a legacy here on earth.
Wow...I'm glad to hear she is with Jesus but I'm sad that she passed so soon.
That song fits her soooooo perfectly.
I was comforted when someone told us that sometimes God is so excited by us and who we are for him that He can't wait to be with us. If she was such a light for Him maybe He was excited to have her home. Sometimes trials are allowed to strengthen what we are about to go through further in life. Maybe seeing what a light she was there is a magnificent journey ahead for her children. I wish the family well and pray the Lord as their comforter.

I read some of your friend's blogs, Sunny, and one of them may have really had the answer. Over a period of 24 hours, because all of you asked, 100's and 1000's of people were praying (us among them) for Annie. I think it's amazing how one person, in what we all saw as her time of need, could rekindle the prayers and faith of so many and touch an entire world.
We will continue to keep all of you as well as her family in our prayers and thoughts. Take care of each other for us.

You told me yesterday that she was one of the precious ones. As Lisa said, I imagine sometimes God wants to hold the precious ones a little closer.
