The Muffin-top Vacation

We just got home from a seriously wonderful trip to California.  It was a blessing to get to be away as a family. And the weather was outstanding at 70+ degrees. We crammed so much into 1 week.

If our vacation was a pair of pants, we would have a serious muffin top.
That's how much we poured into our days.

Friends in San Fran.

A sunny day at the beach.

From opening to closing hours at Disneyland.

Spaghetti dinner with Grandma Bonnie and Bill in Palm Springs.

Lazy river at Indio.

From desert to Sierras, no trees to biggest trees, in one day.

Ghost town near Angels Camp.

A hike in the snow.

Swimming and swimming some more at the resorts' pools.

Traveling mercies for 43 hours and 2,000+ miles in our minivan.

What a fun trip! You were so close to us. We're only 1.5 hours from Angels Camp. Someday, someday we shall meet. :)

I am so glad you had such a great time here in sunny California. So sorry it didn't work out for us to see you when you were in our area but it was an unusually busy week for the LaBarbera's. Hopefully next time!
Love,
Aunt Dianne
