I was watching Emma play in the autumn sunshine when my sister called a bit ago. She called to tell me that her niece, Laurelai died this morning. Laurelai was just 3 years old and was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor 6 months ago. Although I know that she is safe in Jesus’ arms, I imagine her mommy’s arms feel quite empty right now. The children that God gives us to care for are such precious gifts. I pray for Laurelai’s parents who have lost such a dear little girl.
