Yesterday's sunshine, Emma's smiles, and a field of sunflowers were a reminder to me of how blessed I am. It doesn't feel like very long ago I was counting down the days to the birth of my first daughter. I dreamed about what she would look like and who she would become. Viewing her through the lens of my camera, I saw a little girl, no longer a baby, who is slow to share smiles, fiercely independent, finds joy in the simple things and is creatively mischievous. My Emmaleigh, she is such a blessing to me!

That bottom photo of her is amazing. I think you have found your new kitchen theme-- sunflowers!
Those pictures are oh, too sweet!
Hope to see you on Sunday at the Friesen get-together!
She is so CUTE! You guys going to Carrie's wedding?
How did you do that bottom photo?? Tell me that it is not just photography skill. Please. You must have done something in Photoshop that I can duplicate. I am not a skilled photographer and my camera isn't NEARLY as nice as yours, but I really want to learn how to do that!! Beautiful job!
What a sweetie. I feel next year's winning fair photos...
What an amazingly beautiful little girl!
These are great pictures...as always. Emma is a beautiful gift. As odd as this sounds to everyone else possibly reading this comment, I feel like printing out these pics and hanging them up in our bathroom (sunflower theme). :) I definitely think you should save these for next year's fair.
