When I hear the name "Avon," I think chap stick graced with an itsy-bitsy year long calendar and roll-on bath paint from my childhood. I recently learned that Avon has grown up. My sister is now a consultant (what? She isn't 80 year old with lavender hair?) and has me delving into entertaining catalogs full of fun beauty products for cheap prices.I ordered make-up, similar to Bare Essentials and it works great! The foundation was... wait, you will NEVER believe this..... $5. Also, my sis hooked me up with a tan. I have now used the Skin So Soft tanning lotion 1 time and have a lovely glow that doesn't stink like all the others I've tried. It was... wait, you will NEVER believe this... $2.99!
Give the Avon another try. There stuff is great and I know someone who can help you out. :)

Alysun, I came to your blog for just a minute to see what you've been up to, and way too long later, I'm still here! I love your writing and your photos--beautiful! Avon does have some good stuff...I personally love their smudge proof mascara. Doesn't run all over your face when you're teary yet comes off really easy in the shower.

Wow! Avon ought to pay you! Tanning stuff that doesn't smell! Amazing! I wish I would have known. Andrea even arranged for my order to be delivered all the way up here! talk about service!!
Avon does have some pretty good stuff! I have used their Hydrofirming face Lotion Day Cream, SPF 15 and I also have their night cream and eye cream. Oh my goodness! It really has made a difference for my face. My face does feel firmer, not only that but it is well moisturized! (So I don't look dried out and old) It's wonderful! Yay for Avon!
Oh, and you have to try their face scrub. It leaves your face feeling fresh and breezy and soft. I can't remember the name right now but I love it!
