It's what's for dinner...

Culinary artist, Mandy Rose, chooses a unique blend of spices to add to a malleable palette beginning with chicken breasts.

Her mother was thankful the lids were tightly secured since she wasn't prepared to trust the creative genius of a 18 month old. Cider vinegar, soy, oregano, garlic powder, lemon pepper, and dry mustard.... um, delicious? The head chef chose to stick with the more common recipe for stir-fry.

A pretend creation is complete. The jr. chef is delighted with her work!

Trying to cook with a toddler = 20x more difficult than cooking alone
Teaching a love for cooking = worth the extra time

Mandy is super cute in that last picture. Her smile is contagious!

I hope and pray that your pregnancy is going well, Alysun.

Take care!

I tried to find your email address but could not. I know you will like Country Bobs. My name is Al Malekovic ( and I represent a very, very small company called Country Bob's, Inc. We are making a great sauce called, "Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce" and we would like to get the word out about our product.
I know that blogs are a great way to get information to the general public. I conducted a google search for food blogs and your name came and after looking at your blog, I was wondering if you would be interested in trying my sauce and perhaps reviewing it for me.

If you send me your name and address via e-mail, I would gladly send you a recipe brochure along with two bottles of Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce in hopes that you would write a review.

If you would like more information, I would be glad to respond to any questions you might have. In fact, if you are interested in interviewing me after you've sampled the product, I would gladly make myself available!

Thank you for your consideration. I will also give you two two bottle give a ways and just email me the winners and we will mail out.

So TRUE, teaching the love of cooking! I think that is what I missed as a child and that is why I can't do it. Yea, that's it, it's Mom's fault! I fear Madison will fall to the same fate. What a fun post.
