Blessed

Remington James Peters
was born at home on Tuesday, October 6 at 3:06pm
Weighing 7 pounds and 14 ounces, 20 inches in length

I might get around to sharing all the gory details later, but for now, this is the most important one....

Two more excited siblings than you can imagine...

Emma ran into the house saying, "Where's my baby? Where's my baby?" Neither of the girls wanted to give him up. This baby is adored and doesn't seem to mind one bit, for now.

You would think from Mandy's expression that she single-handedly brought her baby brother into the world. Good work Mandy. We all love him very much.

YAY!! Thx for posting pix!!! I love the one with Emma trying to jam a hat on Remi;-) I can tell he looks like the girls- but of course, in the manly sense;-)

Love to you all.

What a handsome little guy! You are blessed indeed, and I'm sure little Remington will be thankful for such loving big sisters. The last photo of Mandy holding him is adorable!

Aloha and congratulations from Maui! We are so happy for you. Great pictures, of course! Remington is absolutely beautiful as baby boys are. He shares Lamar's birthday...he wanted me to tell you that...very important, you know! I hope that someday we'll be able to meet your whole growing family. I feel as if I know you all even though we haven't seen you since Jessie's wedding...which has been awhile!
Enjoy every precious second that you have with your little ones. New babies are sooo.....miraculous! Keep up your blog and facebook so that we can watch them all grow too! Love it!

I have been following via Lindsay's blog and love your posts. I was so excited to hear of your son's arrival, and I'm so happy for you that he arrived safely! Our oldest turned 9 yesterday. It's a great day :)! Congratulations from one momma to another!

Yeah! So happy to know he is here, I hope your labor went as well as a labor can go. AND whoo-ra for homebirths - you did it! BTW it was my birthday he was born on as well!

Let me know when you are ready for a meal and sugar filled treat, I will gladly run one down for you and the family.

Congratulations!!!!

He's so cute! Congratulations! Here I am thinking that you had him last week or something and it was just yesterday and you're blogging and posting pix already?! What a pro! But what do I know? When I think of giving birth, I go back to Laura Ingalls days where they show the mom in bed and I'm just left to think that that's what all moms do after giving birth- lay down, keep still, and heal.
Anyways, I REALLY love the name. It's so strong!

I have to echo the others-- he's a very handsome baby. And it's obvious by the last picture that he is quite loved. Hopefully, after all the poking, dressing and holding, he will still adore his older sisters. ;) Congrats. So very happy for you.

Congratulations! Thank you for posting such wonderful pictures for us all to see. I've been checking in off and on today to see if you were going to post anything, and I was so excited to see this post!

I hope you are able to get as much rest as possible (I know it's tough with a newborn).

He is so precious! I'm so glad that he is here now and you don't have to wait any longer. I look forward to hearing how it went. I love the picture of him with his eye open...and the one of Mandy holding him, as I assume, Emma tries to put his hat on. SO CUTE! Congratulations and way to go having him at home. So neat.
