Dear Martha, I learned how to fold towels thanks to you.

When it was just baby Emma and me hanging out all day, I spent a whole lot of time soaking up Martha Stewart. I subscribed to her magazine and watched her show religiously. I loved hearing her knowledge on entertaining, housekeeping, and cooking.

Martha likes earth tones, I like earth tones. Martha doesn't like wallpaper, I don't like wallpaper. Martha thinks insider trading is okay, I think insider trading is okay. We could be related, we have so many similarities.

Before her stint in prison, I learned the proper way to fold a towel. Useless information you think? Then you've never seen my towel cupboard. Not an exposed towel edge in sight and they are all the same, perfect size and shape. It is a thing of beauty.

I've passed my neurosis knowledge on to my children and Emma is now a pro towel folder. She thinks it so so fun to fold towels that she uses the technique on the baby's blankets too. Remi's blanket/burp cloths are the envy of other babies, I'm sure.

Yes, I'm a blessed woman. Just watch....

I love it! I love Mandy's pride as she holds up the wad of towel at the end, "I did it!" hahaha ^_^ You have trained them so well.

My mother taught me how to fold towels just like this long before Martha, which for some reason I resisted for so long. I finally came to understand how critical a properly folded towel really is.
Can Emma come to Nashville and teach my husband how to do this?

I fold my towels like this, too:-)

On one episode of Dr.Phil, he asked the over-critical wife, "Does it matter the way the towels are folded? Let your husband (who couldn't care less) fold the laundry." I think the wife just cringed;-)

Way to cute. I love the do it myself attitude of Mandy holding her own. I can so relate! I think Emma needs to give Heidi a lesson.

Rick has tried to get me to fold towels like this forever. I think his Grandma taught him. He freaks out the way I fold a fitted sheet too and makes me take them out of the cupboard and do it "right". I will be having him teach Madison this. As there are more people and more towels in the house, yet the linen closet is the same size, it is more critical I guess. Hey I am just lucky they are CLEAN!

I love your video and think you should send to Martha! Where is the picture perfect photo of your linen closet. I feel like drooling!

This is the best!! Your girls are soooo sweet. And for the record, I fold my towels like that too. I didn't know it was the Martha Way, now I feel cool. :)

Very cute video, but I must say that I like my way of folding towels better. =) I also do it in a way that shows no corners once folded, but the way I do it makes it fit perfectly in our odd-sized bathroom built-in cabinet. Martha's way just wouldn't do, I'm afraid.

Another generation of towel folding snobs on the way. since you told me about this way I always fold all the towels at camp this way except I fold the outside edge in too on that last 1/3's step- so no edges at all- this hides all the wearing edges, and is super fast for my huge stacks, and my shelves look like a store:)
