A Thousand Moments

This is truly beautiful and exactly what is on my mind right now.

I'm looking forward to reading the book. There is also a bookclub exploring this author at (in)courage.

Read this post from A Holy Experience if you need a taste of God's goodness today. Amazing writing.

Time is rushing by. Emma is doing math homework. Mandy is playing play-doh with gusto. Remington is taking a nap. I got up early and poured over the Word and exercised to T-tapp before anyone else was up. I feel great!

My list for the day is almost complete. "Perfect on the outside" days are rare. But no matter what, this is a beautiful, beautiful life I enjoy.

PS My posts here are few and far between. I wish I had more to give, but I'm pouring out a lot to Drops. It is a good place to be. Knowing and loving Christ, growing in my relationship with him. I'm still here at Paradise, making a home for my family, cooking, cleaning, decorating, burning my fingers with hot-glue. And I will share the little details still. You just have to be patient. :)

I just recently heard about this book! I love Ann Voskamp's writing, so I'm sure it's fabulous. Can't wait to get it!!

Powerful video clip. It reminds me of the old Gaither song Tom Davis and I did in a duet 15+ years ago-- " we have this moment to hold in our hands and to touch as it slips through our fingers like sand. Yesterday's gone and tomorrow may never come but we have this moment today." Its still a hard concept for me to embrace- prayers for you-

Cool to hear about your day. Isn't it great when we not only get an early start but start out the day right. It really sets the tone for the whole day. God's been teaching me some neat stuff lately from every angle. My devos, the book Crazy Love, church service, Moms 'n Tots Bible Study this morning. Great when things click.
