It's story time and Emma is "reading." She tells people she can read and they believe her, so impressive for a girl who just turned 5. The thing is, she can't read. She can recognize her name and make some educated guesses on word size for Mandy or Remington. And she can make up a fantastic story from the pictures in a book. Here she is reading the photo baby book I made when Emma was 1 year old.
She regales her siblings with tales from her exciting babyhood. They are mesmerized and Remi is thinking, "That is so unfair. Why couldn't I be the first child and be left alone for three years?"
You have to love the fashion my children are sporting. Just a regular day where tights are a must.
"Baby Emma went swimming with dad and she did 100 bobs." Impressive.

Remington looks like he would get up and go do something else if he could, but Mandy is so into it! So very cute! It is so great that they love those books!
I think Remi is thinking "Will I have to wear tights when I am 2?" So adorable. ONE HUNDRED BOBS! Impressive indeed!

Don't you just love those moments when the older siblings entertain the younger one(s). It reminds me of a quote from while you were sleeping..."life is good, people are healthy, and in that moment you have peace. 'Dad, this isn't that moment'...
and then later on...
"I could have sold the whole ____ thing to your uncle ___ for twice it's value. I could have taken your mother on a cruise with Kathy Lee Gifford."
What more could you want...your kids playing nicely together, your crazy friend from Canada quoting WYWS for the millionth time and a cruise with Kathy Lee Gifford. :)
So sweet...look at Remi's chubby cheeks! I love it.
